Apparently the president went on his social media early in the day and said it was a good time to buy stock. 3 hours later he paused his ruinous tariffs. Members of Congress bought the dip in a big way. So did his billionaire friends.
So, I ask you, when you post like that on social media guaranteed to be broadcast almost exclusively to MAGA and then pause tariffs a few hours later, how the hell is that not manipulating the stock market for the benefit of your buddies?
And nothing will happen to him. Or to MOC who bought based on their inside knowledge. I’m pretty sure there were loads of insiders who knew the pause was coming and bought low.
I will not be surprised if he warns his friends so they can sell before he reinstates the tariffs.
