Aw, the guy in the White House is all pouting about how SCOTUS did not allow him to suspend Habeas Corpus just yet. Predictably Alito (and Thomas) dissented and Alito pouted even harder while failing to mention some of his citations actually contradict the point of his dissent. Alito is an asshole who should never have been confirmed. Anyone who thinks the Founders intended that the Constitution would be forever founded in the technology and knowledge of the 18th century thinks they’ve found a way to deny rights to people who aren’t White men. Not to mention it’s concerning that Thomas, surrounded by people who would love to go back to Jim Crow and enslavement, feels he’s in no danger from his good friends taking him on free vacations. Dude, those White people are not your friends. They’ll sell you out in a hot second just as soon as they’ve bought your vote on the outcome they want.
